As part of our commitment to providing you with the best IoT data routing capabilities, we are migrating all projects from Output Streams to Pipelines. This migration promises enhanced flexibility, control, and new features tailored to meet your needs.
Why Opt-In?
Seamless Transition: We’ve designed the transition from Output Streams to Pipelines to be smooth, ensuring no interruptions to your projects.
Enhanced Features: Pipelines offer advanced data routing, filtering, and transformation capabilities, along with a more scalable architecture.
Data Compliance: Pipelines allow you to meet specific data compliance requirements without relying on LightDB Stream, making it ideal for sensitive applications like medical devices.
How to Opt-In
To ensure there are no surprises and to give you the opportunity to migrate your existing production fleets, we are doing this migration on an opt-in basis. Here’s how you can opt-in:
- Fill Out the Form: Provide your email and project ID in the form below.
- Receive Confirmation: After submitting the form, you will receive a confirmation email with further instructions.
- Seamless Migration: We’ll notify you when the migration starts and once it’s complete, ensuring there are no service interruptions.
Before opting your existing projects into migration, we recommend testing Pipelines in a separate project where Pipelines is the default. This helps mitigate any risks and ensures there are no unexpected issues with how data is being routed.
What to Expect
When you opt in, we'll email you to let you know the migration is starting and then notify you again when the migration is complete. The process should be seamless with no service interruptions, and pipelines that replicate your current Output Streams functionality will automatically appear in your console. After migration, you may modify these pipelines, or create new ones as your use case evolves.
